Stage Adaptations of God's Smuggler
Brother Andrew has asked that no movie be made of his story, but he feels differently about
stage plays, produced locally in churches and schools.
The other day I picked up the phone to hear the familiar Dutch accented voice of our friend
Brother Andrew, calling from Kennedy Airport in New York. Andrew was on his way to yet another
large meeting of young people hoping to bring understanding to a world torn apart by war and
terror. For 20 years our tireless friend Andrew has been working not with Communists but with
the "far more challenging" world of Islam. Today, as before, Andrew's Work of Presence is an
inspiration and challenge to Christians - and especially young Christians - in the West.
More than ever God's Smuggler is a template for evangelism in "impossible" settings.
This action-packed play, again the work of Saltmine, is available for performance in your
